Privacy Policy

Kitchens Booked is a service of NewPulse Inc., an Ontario corporation ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use kitchensbooked.ca, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA").

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly. That is the name, email address, city, and any message you send through our contact form or market-check form. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, payment details or government identifiers through these forms.

We also receive basic technical information automatically when you visit the site: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the page that referred you. This is standard server log data, used to operate the site and understand traffic patterns.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Respond to enquiries you send through our forms.
• Tell you whether your market is available for a Kitchens Booked partnership.
• Send you marketing emails if you have asked to receive them. You can unsubscribe from any email we send.
• Operate, secure, and improve the website.
• Meet any legal or regulatory obligations we have under Canadian law.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the business:

• Bento (bentonow.com) handles our forms, contact list, and email marketing.
• Cloudflare hosts and serves the website.

These providers are bound to use your information only to perform services for us. If we are ever required to disclose information by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of others, we will do so to the extent required.

Where it is stored

Information collected through this website may be stored or processed in countries other than Canada, including the United States, by the service providers listed above. By using the site you consent to this transfer. We pick providers we believe maintain appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep contact enquiries for as long as we are in active discussion with you, and for a reasonable period after, so we can pick up where we left off. Marketing list entries are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Server logs are retained for a short rolling window for security and diagnostics.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of first-party cookies and similar storage to remember interface state and to let our forms and analytics work. We do not use cross-site advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the site may stop working as expected.

Your rights under PIPEDA

You can ask us, at any time, to:

• Confirm whether we hold personal information about you.
• Send you a copy of that information.
• Correct it if it is wrong.
• Delete it, subject to any legal or contractual reason we need to keep it.
• Withdraw consent for any use we make of it.

Email contact@kitchensbooked.ca and we will respond within a reasonable period, normally within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously.

Children

The site is intended for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of sixteen.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
